I started dancing at the age of ten at a local dance school in Queens, New York. It was there that I found my passion for dance and the performing arts. I knew that dance was something that I wanted to pursue as a career.

I attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for the performing art & music and art in New York City. I was given extensive training in Ballet and Modern, as well as Nutrition and anatomy. I also trained at Ballet Hispanico where I learned Flamenco, Brazilian, African and a variety of cultural dance forms. I performed with the student company at various locations tri-state. I also performed at Alvin Alley with an independent Hip-Hop Group and at many venues/clubs in New York City. I studied a variety of dance styles that include Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Belly Dance, Salsa and of course Zumba.

Zumba is a mix of different styles of dance with a latin twist mixed with moderate to high cardio moves and high energy. It gives you a great workout while having fun and you don't need to have any dance experience! I currently teach at NYSC (New York Sports Club) 24Hour Fitness and the YMCA.

I am a choreographer and work with upcoming groups, and special events. I am Zumba Certified, AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) certified and have my CPR/AED certification, which is required to teach at most fitness centers in the U.S.
